Export Compliance & Quality

Mintwell operates under Indian export law and the international sanctions regime. This policy documents the certifications, registrations, and documentation standards that govern every shipment.

1. Certifications & Registrations

ISO 9001:2015

Quality Management System certified for sourcing, inspection, packing, and export of automotive spare parts. Re-certified annually by an accredited registrar.

IEC (Importer Exporter Code)

Issued by India's DGFT. Required for all cross-border trade from India. Available on request for LC issuance and customer onboarding.

AD Code Registration

Authorised Dealer Code registered with Indian Customs at our nominated ports of shipment (Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Delhi ICD, Delhi Air Cargo).

GST & PAN

Registered Indian exporter with valid GSTIN and PAN. GST LUT filed to enable zero-rated exports.

2. Documentation Standards

Every shipment is accompanied by a complete, consistent, and LC-compliant document set:

  • HS codes — Harmonised System tariff codes declared on the commercial invoice, aligned with the importing country's tariff schedule where buyer specifies.
  • Commercial invoice and packing list — reconciled to the last decimal on quantity, value, weight, and part number.
  • Bill of Lading / Air Waybill — clean on board, issued per LC or PO instructions.
  • ISPM-15 phytosanitary — for wooden packaging.
  • Insurance certificate — for CIF / CIP shipments.
  • BIS, conformity, and end-use certificates — where required by destination regulation.

3. Certificate of Origin & Preferential Trade

Non-preferential Certificate of Origin is issued on request through an Indian Chamber of Commerce or equivalent authority.

Preferential Certificate of Origin under India's Free Trade Agreements is issued where the goods qualify under the applicable Rules of Origin:

  • SAFTA — South Asian Free Trade Area (Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka).
  • APTA — Asia Pacific Trade Agreement (Bangladesh, China, Korea, Laos, Mongolia, Sri Lanka).
  • ASEAN-India FTA (AIFTA) — Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
  • India-UAE CEPA — Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement.
  • India-Australia ECTA, India-Japan CEPA, India-Korea CEPA, and others as available.

Preferential CoO issuance timelines depend on chamber workload; buyers should factor 2–5 working days into their LC latest-shipment calculations.

4. Sanctions & Restricted Destinations

Mintwell does not ship to, finance, or facilitate trade with jurisdictions or entities on:

  • The UN Security Council Consolidated Sanctions List.
  • The OFAC Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) and sectoral sanctions lists.
  • EU and UK consolidated sanctions lists.
  • Indian DGFT / RBI restricted entity or caution lists.

Every Buyer and destination is screened before PO acceptance. Orders that fail screening are refused and any advance received is returned less bank / wire transfer charges.

5. OEM Authenticity

Mintwell supplies genuine OEM and OES auto parts sourced directly from authorised Indian manufacturers, their distributors, and appointed dealer networks.

We do not supply counterfeit, imitation, or grey-market parts. Every carton carries manufacturer markings, part numbers, and batch codes traceable to source. Authenticity certificates are provided on request where issued by the OEM.

6. Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption

Mintwell complies with India's Prevention of Corruption Act and internationally with the US FCPA and UK Bribery Act principles. We do not offer, pay, or accept bribes, kickbacks, or facilitation payments in the course of business. Buyers, agents, and freight partners are expected to follow the same standard.

7. Quality Control Process

Inbound, in-process, and outbound inspection under ISO 9001:2015:

  • Inbound goods reconciled against OEM invoice, part number, batch, and MRP.
  • Random sampling per AQL plan — visual inspection, dimensional checks, packaging integrity, and OEM authentication features.
  • Pre-shipment inspection against the PI — part number, quantity, packing, labelling, shipping marks.
  • Non-conformance register maintained and reviewed in quarterly management review meetings.
